The Kinetic Intron Hypothesis

Currently no widely acknowledged model exists to characterize the length of introns within genes, yet intron length is massively abundant in eukaryotic genomes. Here I present an attempt to model the length of introns. In doing so, I explore novel hypothesized intron dynamics, presenting preliminary data for previously uncharacterized intron characteristics. The new data and model have the protentional to unveil new avenues of utility for introns at the intracellular level.
