Ultrathin Ionic Diodes with Electrostatically Heterogeneous Hybrid Interfaces of Nanoporous SiO 2 Nanofilms and Polymer Layer‐by‐Layer Multilayers (Small 40/2024)
Ionic Diodes In article number 2404306, Yuya Ishizaki-Betchaku, Shunsuke Yamamoto, Masaya Mitsuishi, and co-workers demonstrated ultrathin ionic diodes with electrostatically heterogeneous hybrid interfaces consisting of negatively charged nanoporous SiO2 nanofilms and positively charged polymer layer-by-layer multilayers. The ionic diodes exhibited excellent ion current rectification properties by effective ion accumulation and depletion at the heterogeneous hybrid interfaces under low ionic strength and asymmetric pH conditions.
