The Human Erasure Index (HEI): Mathematical explanation, Part II
While macroeconomic tension in developed economies (OECD) leads to a structural compression of demographic potential (the "Cartesian Implosion"), applying the same linear framework to the Global South reveals fundamental physical differences. This paper adapts the thermodynamic framework of the Human Erasure Index (HEI) for developing economies, modeling them as macroeconomic "Open Circuits" with weak institutional containers. In the absence of massive mortgage markets and pharmacological control (antidepressants), the systemic Resistance ($R$) in the Joule-Lenz equation ($Q=I^2Rt$) is recalibrated to inflation, which constantly devalues human energy output. The generated heat ($Q$) is not conserved within the system but transforms into "Kinetic Entropy"—manifesting as eruptions of physical violence and social destabilization. We mathematically demonstrate that standard one-dimensional projection (1D PCA) fails to capture the orthogonal variance of this chaos, resulting in severe structural underfitting. To resolve this limitation, we apply the Euclidean distance metric ($L_2$ Norm) to measure the true multidimensional radius of destruction, a phenomenon we term the "Euclidean Explosion." Finally, the study synthesizes the concepts of "Deaths of Despair" (Angus Deaton) and "Greedy Work" (Claudia Goldin). Grounded in thermodynamic laws, we prove that the global collapse in fertility is not a cultural shift. It is a mathematically deterministic "Thermodynamic Biological Strike": the instinctive shedding of the most energy-intensive biological function (reproduction) to ensure the physical survival of the host in an environment of extreme macroeconomic resistance.
