Internal Ballistic Analysis of a Solid Ramjet Engine Using Local Combustion Regression Rate

A one-dimensional unsteady internal ballistic analysis was conducted for a solid-fuel ramjet engine.A model incorporating axial variations (in the flow direction) such as local regression rate of the grain, port enlargement, and flow characteristic changes was developed.Inlet airflow conditions and time-dependent grain geometry were applied to compute axial thermo fluid characteristics, and the model's validity was verified by comparing computed and measured combustor pressures. This framework enables quantitative analysis of axial variations in pressure, temperature, fuel-to-air ratio, regression rate, and flow velocity within locally varying combustion regions. . , , ( ) . , . , , -, , .
