TROPoe User Guide: v1.0

This document serves as a user’s guide for the TROPoe (tropospheric remotely observed profiling via optimal estimation) software package. TROPoe was designed to retrieve thermodynamic profiles and cloud properties from ground-based microwave radiometers and infrared spectrometers. It uses a physical-iterative approach and provides a full error characterization of each retrieval including information content.
