TRANSNATIONAL MOBILITY, LABOR MARKET INTEGRATION, AND SOCIAL COHESION IN THE ERA OF GLOBAL INTERDEPENDENCE
Abstract Globalization has intensified cross-border mobility of labor, capital, and information, reshaping demographic structures and socio-economic dynamics across regions. Migration has emerged as both driver and consequence of global interdependence, influencing labor markets, welfare systems, political discourse, and cultural identities. This study examines the relationship between transnational migration flows, labor market integration, and social cohesion in advanced economies. Particular attention is devoted to institutional frameworks governing migration policy, integration strategies, and public perception dynamics. The objective is to assess how migration interacts with globalization processes to produce both opportunities for economic dynamism and challenges to social solidarity.
