Mass Spectra of Ξ

In this work, we analyze the mass spectrum of the doubly heavy baryons Ξbc using a relativistic flux tube approach that incorporates spin interactions. The baryon is modeled through a quark–diquark picture, where a bottom–charm diquark is connected to a light quark by a rotating stringlike flux tube. Spin–dependent terms are included to account for fine structural effects. Our computed ground-state masses of Ξbc agree well with prior theoretical predictions, demonstrating the robustness of the model. We also provide systematic estimates for a wide range of orbital and radial excitations. These results supply valuable theoretical input for current and upcoming experiments, particularly at the LHC, by offering benchmarks for identifying potential Ξbc signatures in data. As bottom–charm baryons remain experimentally unobserved, the present study establishes an essential reference for future discoveries in this sector.
