Complete genome sequence of <i>Lactiplantibacillus plantarum</i> SE1, isolated from the Japanese fermented pickle “Pesora-zuke”
We report the complete genome sequence of <i>Lactiplantibacillus plantarum</i> SE1, isolated from the traditional Japanese fermented pickled eggplant, "Pesora-zuke". The genome consists of one chromosome and four plasmids. Four predicted exopolysaccharide (EPS) biosynthetic gene clusters were identified, one of which was plasmid-encoded.
