Hydrothermal synthesis of V
Development of high-performance energy storage devices is one of the basic needs of the current human society. Along with electrolyte, electrode plays an important role for any energy storage device. The present work focuses on the preparation of a novel nanocomposite of V2O5 and g-C3N4 employing hydrothermal technique. Post synthesis the nanocomposite was material characterized using different characterization techniques such as Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), Thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Further electrochemical performance of the synthesized nanocomposite was evaluated in a two-electrode system. High specific capacitance (~180 F g−1), specific energy (~6.22 Wh kg−1) and specific power (~3. 13 kW kg−1) were noted. This study demonstrates the potential of prepared nanocomposite as robust and effective electrode materials, providing a viable path towards sustainable energy storage systems.
