FOLCLOR PÚBLICO EN LA CUECA BRAVA CHILENA: GÉNERO, PERFORMATIVIDAD Y AFECTOS
This article explores urban cueca brava through the lenses of gender, performativity, and affect, focusing on creative strategies of Chilean female performers such as Las Peascazo and Calila Lila.Through lyrical, musical, and performative analysis, it reveals how these artists reframe public folklore as a site of feminist resistance and creative agency. The study underscores the female voice as a political agent, for vindication of corporeality and affect in Santiago's contemporary cueca scene.
