Google's Measurement Tools Cannot Report on AI Visibility
Complete report-level analysis of Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Business Profile against AI visibility measurement requirements. Systematically assesses every report, metric, trigger, and variable across all four tools using a four-tier status framework (Obsolete, Degrading, Hygiene, Partial). Demonstrates that Google's entire measurement stack produces zero data for AI-mediated discovery, documents the zero-traffic visibility problem where organisations can have high AI visibility while analytics show no activity, and examines the strategic risks of measurement mismatch including false negatives, false positives, and optimisation misdirection. Part of the AI Visibility Architecture (AIVA) framework documentation.
