CXCL5 suppresses osteoclastogenesis and protects against lipoteichoic acid-induced bone loss by modulating PLCγ2 and c-Fos signalling in gram-positive periprosthetic joint infection
CXCL5 is highly expressed in GPC-PJI and protects bone by inhibiting osteoclast differentiation through PLCγ2 and c-Fos signalling. In vivo evidence confirms its key role in preserving bone homeostasis during Gram-positive bacterial infection.
