Nightclub deaths in the UK: a retrospective observational study of media reports with coroner verification
Using open-source media and coroners, this study identified nearly six deaths per year associated with UK nightclubs. Victims are predominantly young adults, with trauma and drug toxicity the leading causes. These findings underscore the need for targeted interventions, including enhanced safety measures and harm reduction strategies, to prevent future tragedies.
