ADAPTATION OF MODERN HIGHER EDUCATION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF «SOFT SKILLS» IN STUDENTS

The development of soft skills is becoming one of the priorities of modern higher education, which is explained both by the rapid reduction in the “half-life of knowledge” and the growing complexity of the professional and social environment. Soft skills create the basis for adaptability, learning ability and resilience of graduates, allowing them to master new professional functions and respond flexibly to changing external conditions. Under these conditions, higher education ceases to be exclusively a stage of obtaining professional knowledge and is increasingly becoming a space for the formation of universal competencies. This article examines the limitations of the traditional educational model from the point of view of developing soft skills, analyzes the possibilities of transforming educational practices through the use of digital technologies, and also identifies key risks and contradictions in the process of digitalization of education.
