Promoting thinking skills through mindfulness and mindsight
In this article, Chia and Lim (2018) explore the integration of mindfulness and mindsight practices to enhance thinking skills and cognitive awareness. The article examines how cultivating present-moment attention, self-reflection, and mental flexibility can improve problem-solving, decision-making, and emotional regulation. By combining mindfulness-based techniques with mindsight principles, the authors highlight practical strategies for fostering higher-order thinking, self-understanding, and adaptive learning in educational and therapeutic contexts.
