Exploring the perception of dental anxiety among people in prison in France: the DANXIERAL qualitative study
To the best of the authors' knowledge, this is the first qualitative study in France to explore dental anxiety among people who are incarcerated using a multisensory, narrative-based approach. The study highlights the role of person-centered care in addressing dental anxiety in prison settings and provides concrete, context-specific recommendations for improving oral and healthcare delivery in correctional facilities.
