Studying the detectability of gravitational waves from the post-merger phase in binary neutron star signals

We study the detectability of next-generation gravitational wave detectors by analyzing 10 post-merger signals in binary neutron star simulations assuming they are sources located at <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" id="m1"> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>d</mml:mi> <mml:mo>=</mml:mo> <mml:mn>88</mml:mn> <mml:mtext> </mml:mtext> <mml:mi mathvariant="normal">M</mml:mi> <mml:mi mathvariant="normal">p</mml:mi> <mml:mi mathvariant="normal">c</mml:mi> </mml:mrow> </mml:math> and <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" id="m2"> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>d</mml:mi> <mml:mo>=</mml:mo> <mml:mn>159</mml:mn> <mml:mtext> </mml:mtext> <mml:mi mathvariant="normal">M</mml:mi> <mml:mi mathvariant="normal">p</mml:mi> <mml:mi mathvariant="normal">c</mml:mi> </mml:mrow> </mml:math> .
