Pontos de vista de Jean-Marie Kraemer sobre o ensino e a aprendizagem dos números

This article aims to illustrate the work of Jean-Marie Kramer in the field of Mathematics Education and to highlight his key ideas related to the teaching and learning of numbers. The first section outlines his early professional career, emphasising the experiences that shaped his areas of re­­search interest. The second focuses on his contributions to Portuguese research and tea­cher training in relation to the teaching and learning of numbers. The structure of this section is organi­­sed around a set of principles that Jean-Marie Kramer considers fundamental for planning the tea­ching of numbers. Based on these principles, some of his perspectives on the subject are also highlighted.
