In this study, heather (Callunavulgaris L.) leaves were used as a natural dye source for the dyeing ofwoolen fabrics. The heather leaves to be used as dye were dried and ground anddyed at 95°C for 1 hour using FeSO₄ and CuSO₄ metal salts, or a combination ofthese, as mordants. After dyeing, a "warm wash-soap wash-warmwash-rinse" process was applied, and then it was dried at roomtemperature. Colors in brown, light brown, and beige tones were obtained. TheCIE L*a*b* color values and K/S values of the colored samples weredetermined using Konica Minolta spectrophotometry. Additionally, the washingand rubbing fastness values of the dyed samples were tested, and they weredetermined to be within 4-5 points. As a result, acceptable color shades andfastness tests were obtained for the dyed samples.
