Approximate solutions to the Dunkl–Schrödinger equation for a class of exponential potentials

Approximate solutions to the Schrödinger equation for a class of exponential potentials within the Dunkl formalism are constructed. Our approximation is applied to an inverse quadratic term contributed by the Dunkl formalism in the effective potential. We show that the Kratzer potential emerges as a particular case of our exponential interaction, and we derive conditions for our solutions to represent bound states. An explicit example is constructed.

Abstract

Approximate solutions to the Schrödinger equation for a class of exponential potentials within the Dunkl formalism are constructed. Our approximation is applied to an inverse quadratic term contributed by the Dunkl formalism in the effective potential. We show that the Kratzer potential emerges as a particular case of our exponential interaction, and we derive conditions for our solutions to represent bound states. An explicit example is constructed.
