Complications of Paediatric Flexible Bronchoscopy with Six-Lobe Bronchoalveolar Lavage Performed Under General Anaesthesia
Flexible bronchoscopy with bronchoalveolar lavage in all six lobes under GA in children is a safe procedure with low incidence of major complications when performed by expert clinicians. Parents should be advised of a 9% risk of delayed overnight discharge.
