A Retrospective Comparison of Plunger-Type and Band-Type Mechanical Chest Compression Devices for Prehospital Resuscitation
Our study suggested that the use of a band-type mCPR device was associated with a small decrease in odds of achieving prehospital ROSC in comparison to the use of a plunger-type device. Limitations include the potential for residual confounding, unmeasured confounders, and selection bias.
