Writing across Borders: A Conversation between Giulia Travaglini and Yousif M. Qasmiyeh

Abstract This conversation explores the relationship between Arabic and English in the poetry of Yousif M. Qasmiyeh, as well as the role played by language contact in defining identities in a refugee camp, and how languages mark the body just as much as the legal borders one crosses. A series of poems complements the interview, opening up the boundaries between academic discourse and creative output.
