Eco-Autonomous Surface Vehicle Network (EASVN): A Proposed Framework for Revolutionizing Water Management, Environmental Restoration, and Disaster Response
Title: Eco-Autonomous Surface Vehicle Network (EASVN): A Proposed Framework for Revolutionizing Water Management, Environmental Restoration, and Disaster Response Description: This technical research proposal presents the Eco-Autonomous Surface Vehicle Network (EASVN) — a conceptual framework for a fleet of intelligent, self-powered, interconnected autonomous surface robots designed to operate on freshwater bodies. The proposed system addresses critical gaps in water management, real-time environmental monitoring, and disaster response, particularly in rural and underserved communities. The EASVN integrates autonomous vehicle technology, IoT-based mesh networking, renewable energy systems, and onboard water purification capabilities to provide a scalable, infrastructure-light solution to global water security challenges. This document outlines the problem statement, system architecture, key technical components, and research objectives at the concept stage. This work is intended to invite feedback, collaboration, and further development from the research community.
