Music Reviews
Abstract: The author reviews two underpresented composers whose work spans from the early twentieth and twenty-first century. Rebecca Clarke was a twentieth-century British composer, and Robert Owens was a Black American composer whose centennial was celebrated in 2025. The anthologies discussed are recent publications of previously unavailable works and highlight the extraordinary contributions of these respective scholar-editors.
