The Periodic Table as a Recurrence of "Chrono-Knots" under Ontological Discipline: a critical–propositional reading of Chronogravity in light of the Theory of Objectivity (TO)
This paper presents a critical–propositional reading of Adam J. Parkes’s preprint, The Periodic Table as Quantized Chrono-Knots: A Chronogravity Perspective on Atomic Structure (December 2025), confronting it with the foundational and recent bibliography of the Theory of Objectivity (TO). The aim is not to replace contemporary physics or cosmology, but to apply TO’s modal ontological discipline as a logical and scientific basis for assessing the coherence of proposed models for a possible universe, in light of the modal necessity of the seven axioms and the AI-assisted systematization of testability (Cabannas & Silva 2025). We argue that Parkes’s proposal offers especially promising contact points with TO: (i) the interpretation of elements as stable configurations (“chrono-knots”) and (ii) the derivation of periodicity as the recurrence of harmonic patterns support a reading compatible with the requirement of real distinctions by boundaries/invariants (A4) and with the notion that each element manifests a singularizing signature (A2). The paper also develops a central operational bridge for A7 by treating the transcendent as information/knowledge produced in atomic relations, operationally equivalent to atomic radiation (a public and communicable record of states and transitions). In this context, the prediction of an “excess redshift” in inner shells is treated as a privileged candidate for empirical testing, provided that dimensionality, effective couplings, and validity regimes are specified without conflict with the known precision of standard spectroscopy. The text further identifies tensions and clarification requirements under modal necessity: (i) the ontological status of the ψ field vis-à-vis A1 (avoiding an unjustified “primary physical background”), (ii) the relational criterion of full realization and “observation” in A5 (non-anthropocentric), and (iii) the formulation of closed and decidable operational bridges under the Law of Logical Minimum, while also articulating TO’s inductor effects (EIE/EIR) as a dynamic grammar for interpreting periodic recurrence, stability, and composition. Finally, the paper includes TO-standard appendices: (a) an Axiom→Requirement→Translation→Test framework, (b) an outline of an operational protocol for the “excess redshift” in inner-shell lines after subtracting standard contributions, and (c) a methodological note on neutrinos as possible phenomenic manifestations of TO plasmas, used as an analogy of low-interaction “record carriers.” Keywords: Theory of Objectivity; Chronogravity; periodic table; chrono-knots; modal axioms; boundaries; relational observation; transcendent; radiative information; spectroscopy; operational bridges; Law of Logical Minimum.
