Takotsubo: a systematic review of the neurological and psychological implications of a broken heart
Further studies evaluating the still poorly understood etiology of the syndrome are needed so that an appropriate early diagnosis can be made. Further studies should investigate the effectiveness of psychotherapeutic treatments in order to improve symptom management, prognosis, and more adequately manage any relapse.
