Why 137? The Construction of the Electron

This paper provides a geometric derivation of the fine-structure constant ($\alpha$) and details the architecture of the electron as a toroidal soliton within a discrete Rhombic Dodecahedral Manifold (RD-Manifold). We demonstrate that Lorentz invariance emerges naturally at macroscopic scales, resolving Special Relativity violations inherent in standard discrete lattices. Furthermore, we mathematically reduce the discrete lattice transport equations directly to the standard Dirac-Maxwell Lagrangian, establishing a formal link to Quantum Electrodynamics (QED). Finally, we derive $\alpha^{-1}$ from pure topology and thermal vacuum elasticity, achieving a dynamic prediction that exactly matches the CODATA 2018 experimental value.
