AI-Mediated Self-Knowledge: A Terminological Framework for Epistemic Self-Access Through Structured Dialogue with Artificial Interlocutors
Priority registration for the concept of AI-Mediated Self-Knowledge within the AUGMANITAI framework (Ehstand 2025–2026). Author ORCID: 0009-0006-3773-7796. AI-Mediated Self-Knowledge designates the class of epistemic states in which individuals gain genuine insight into their own cognitive, affective, or behavioral patterns through structured AI interaction — insight previously inaccessible through unaided introspection. Synthesizes self-awareness theory (Duval & Wicklund 1972), psychoanalytic mirroring (Kohut 1971; Winnicott 1971), and emerging AI-assisted reflection research. Full definitions maintained in the unpublished AUGMANITAI Compendium. ISO 704 / ISO 1087 / ISO 30042 compliant.
