Deep Earth Processes, Core Dynamics, and Hot-Spot Volcanism

This study investigates the interactions between deep Earth processes, core dynamics, and volcanic hot-spot activity, emphasizing the role of helical magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flows and Taylor column modulation at the core–mantle boundary. Observational data from Iceland, Hawaii, Kamchatka, Axial Seamount, Campi Flegrei, and Yellowstone are analyzed in the context of mantle plume dynamics and geomagnetic field variations. The work also explores the influence of solar maximum on deep Earth processes, demonstrating that volcanic and geothermal activity is more dynamic and globally correlated than predicted by traditional climate and geological models. Implications for climate adaptation and forecasting of volcanic events are discussed, highlighting potential global cooling events induced by intensified volcanic activity and aerosol injection, even under ongoing greenhouse conditions.
