Arthroscopic transosseous rotator cuff repair gt-tunneler technique Aile 4 Expérience
The arthroscopic approach to rotator cuff repair is widely used throughout the world. Several studies have analyzed biomechanical factors to understand their influence on tendon-bone healing and improve repair configurations. Transosseous suture repairs may have better healing potential at the tendon- bone interface, as they allow a larger insertion zone and better pressure characteristics. To optimize healing, techniques equivalent to transosseous suturing have been developed. Such as the GT- Tunnelar technique is indicated for the repair of all types of rotator cuff tears, designed to achieve an effective, economical, reproducible and durable transosseous repair configuration.
