Phase II: Empirical Validation Protocol (Ecological Homeostasis)
ABSTRACTProject Castiel is the empirical validation arm of the SymbioMind Standard, providing the computationalwind tunnel required to test the theoretical isomorphisms established in the SymbioMind Compendium.Where the Compendium asserts functional identity across biological, robotic, cybernetic, and quantumdomains, Castiel provides the experimental apparatus to prove it under adversarial stress. The protocolsubjects EH-governed systems to an escalating three-phase Model Ordeal — Baseline Homeostasis,Induced Decoherence, and Allostatic Intervention — measuring recovery latency, spectral gap efficiency, and boundary saturation threshold against a formal null hypothesis. Castiel tests whether Lindblad JumpOperators and Bayesian Update logic provide a statistically significant survival advantage overconventional linear controllers (PID/Kalman) when environmental noise exceeds standard operationalthresholds. Results will establish regulatory pre-art for non-brittle technology, document proprietarytuning constants as sovereign assets, and define the Castiel Stress-Test as the enforceability mechanismfor the SymbioMind Ethical Charter.
