A Novel Hydrazine Sensor Based on ZnO/SnO 2 MIPs
Hydrazine sensors are currently one of the key research areas in the Aerospace industry. In this work, star-shaped ZnO/SnO 2 composite materials were synthesized via a combination of precipitation and hydrothermal methods. Molecular imprinting modification was subsequently carried out using methacrylic acid as the functional monomer. The ZnO/SnO 2 composite exhibits a distinctive star-like morphology with a diameter of 200–300 nm and a pronounced cross-shaped structure. The ZnO/SnO 2 MIPs sensor show outstanding N 2 H 4 sensing performance, delivering a response value of 41.5 toward 40 ppm N 2 H 4 at the optimal operating temperature of 320 °C. In addition, the ZnO/SnO 2 MIPs sensor shows enhanced selectivity toward N 2 H 2 , rapid response and recovery characteristics, as well as excellent repeatability and operational stability. These advantages indicate that ZnO/SnO 2 MIPs are highly promising candidates for use as sensitive and selective materials in N 2 H 4 gas detection applications.
