Security-constrained unit commitment considering AC power flow via data-driven linearization techniques

As power systems become larger and more complex, the current DC power flow-based security-constrained unit commitment (SCUC) models suffer from long solution times and require multiple iterations to ensure feasibility. Considering the well-developed data-driven linearization techniques, this paper proposes a basic framework and iterative format for SCUC based on linearized power flow. Additionally, two linear approximation SCUC models are developed based on two linearized power flow models, namely, data-driven DC-PF and data-driven AC-PF. Case studies using IEEE standard test cases are conducted to validate the optimality and efficiency of the proposed models.
