Distributionally robust optimization-based approach for building electricity demand response under wind power and load uncertainty

With the continuous increase in wind power installations, the intermittency and volatility of wind power have put forward higher requirements for the flexible adjustment ability of the power system, highlighting the urgency of collaborative optimization of supply and demand. Therefore, a research on the building electricity demand response method under wind-load uncertainty based on distributed robust optimization was carried out. Firstly, based on the distribution robust method, a multi-dimensional fuzzy set is constructed to carry out the distribution robust collaborative optimization of wind power-load uncertainty. Then, according to the price-based demand response, a demand response cost model is established to deal with the anti-peak regulation characteristics of wind power. Using the Gurobi optimization solver to solve the model, the results show that the optimized wind power absorption rate is increased to 90.28%, the peak-to-valley reduction rate is 29.30%, and the total system cost is reduced by 8.92%.
