Twists in the tubes: Diagnosing a hidden ureteroinguinal hernia

ABSTRACT Ureteroinguinal hernia represents a rare anatomical anomaly with potential for significant clinical consequences. Most cases are incidentally diagnosed via imaging or during herniorrhaphy. This report documents a rare presentation of an obstructive ureteric calculus within the herniated segment of the native ureter in a 71-year-old man, outlining imaging signs, operative findings, and therapeutic strategy.
