Note From the Editors—March 2026

The year 2025 was again very successful for Entomologia Experimentalis et Applicata with 119 published articles, including four mini-reviews and two special issues. We welcomed three new members to our Associate Editors team (Tiantian Lin, Karin Nordstrom, and Minggang Wang). We transitioned to Wiley's manuscript handling system Research Exchange (ReX). We welcome suggestions for special issues. Entomologia Experimentalis et Applicata has been doing well last year. We remain in the top 30% of entomology journals (Scopus). In 2025 we published 109 original articles, four mini-review articles, two introductory articles, and four technical notes in 12 monthly issues. The 2025 volume included two special issues, namely “Proceedings of the Symposium on Insect-Plant Relationships” (guest edited by Dr. Caroline Müller, Dr. Georg Petschenka, Dr. Erik H. Poelman, Dr. Rabea Schweiger) and “Trait Selection in Production Insects” (edited by Dr. Leo Beukeboom), and featured special sections on “Fall Army Worm,” “Nutritional Effects,” “Ecotoxicology,” “Host-Parasitoid Interaction,” “Temperature and Life History,” “Pest Management,” “Insect–Plant Interactions,” and “Beetle Population Dynamics and Management.” In 2025, we welcomed three new members to our team of Associate Editors: Dr. Tiantian Lin, Dr. Karin Nordstrom and Dr. Minggang Wang. Dr. Tiantian Lin is associate professor at the Ministry of Education, Key Laboratory for Ecosecurity of Southwest China, Yunnan University, Kumming, CHINA with expertise on plant-herbivore interactions. Dr. Karin Nordstrom is professor at the College of Medicine and Public Health, Flinders University, Adelaide, AUSTRALIA with expertise in insect vision and behavior. Dr. Minggang Wang is associate professor at the College of Forestry, Beijing Forestry University, Beijing, China with expertise in ecosystem entomology. We are happy to be working with them in 2026. We transitioned to our publisher Wiley's new manuscript handling system Research Exchange (ReX). Research Exchange is an integrated submission, screening, and peer review platform that aims to improve the publishing process for authors, reviewers, and editors. We will continue our fruitful collaboration with Wiley in 2026. Finally, we would like to take the opportunity to ask you for topics for review articles and special issues.
