Targeting DAP5 Disrupts Alternate Mode of Translational Initiation in Tregs and Potentiates Antitumor Immunity (Adv. Sci. 10/2026)
Huang, and co-workers reveal that induced expression of the non-classical translational scaffold protein DAP5 in tumor-infiltrating regulatory T cells (ti-Tregs) drives alternate mode translation of transcripts encoding CD25 and MCL-1, sustaining ti-Treg lineage stability and survival in the harsh tumor microenvironment.Their findings offer novel therapeutic strategy for cancer immunotherapy.
