101 W, sub-400 fs Yb:Lu 2 O 3 thin-disk regenerative amplifier
We report the first demonstration of a Yb:Lu2O3 thin-disk regenerative amplifier, generating 363 fs pulses centered at 1033 nm with a compressed average power of 101 W at a 96.5 kHz repetition rate. This result represents the first time, to our knowledge, that a thin-disk regenerative amplifier has simultaneously surpassed 100 W of average power with a sub-400 fs pulse duration, paving the way for advanced industrial and scientific applications.
