Retinal Reattachment Using Suprachoroidal Viscopexy, Endodrainage and Endolaser: Technical Description With Early Outcomes of Three Young Phakic Patients with Chronic Regulated Detachments
SCVEXY with endodrainage and endolaser without vitrectomy is a safe, lens-preserving approach for selected RRDs. This modification addresses the issue of SRF persistence when SCVEXY is used alone in chronic regulated detachments while preserving the minimally invasive nature of SCVEXY. Larger studies are warranted to validate its long-term efficacy and role relative to traditional scleral buckling and pars plana vitrectomy.
