A Mathematical Perspective to Nature

Mathematics is a subject which exists in great harmony with Nature. Concepts in Mathematics have found their essence in Nature, whether it be conic sections describing planetary orbits, the arrangement of scales on a pine cone following Fibonacci series, or geometric progressions describing the whorls of a sea shell. This article examines Nature through a mathematical perspective to illustrate how different mathematical concepts interrelate with natural phenomena.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject which exists in great harmony with Nature. Concepts in Mathematics have found their essence in Nature, whether it be conic sections describing planetary orbits, the arrangement of scales on a pine cone following Fibonacci series, or geometric progressions describing the whorls of a sea shell. This article examines Nature through a mathematical perspective to illustrate how different mathematical concepts interrelate with natural phenomena.
