An Oxygen‐Scavenger Sulfide Coating Enabling Long‐Term Stable Nickel‐Rich Cathodes (Small 10/2026)
Rechargeable Batteries In article number e09789, Fumiya Watanabe, Yuzi Liu, Xiangbo Meng, and co-workers discover that sulfides as surface coatings can scavenge oxygen released from transition metal oxide cathodes. This discovery paves a feasible pathway to solve the issues harassing rechargeable batteries' cycling stability, lifetime, and safety.
