Tetraaminophenazine‐Derived Redox‐Active Coordination Polymer for Lithium‐Ion Batteries
Herein, we report the synthesis of a nickel(II) coordination polymer P1, derived from a tetraaminophenazine ligand, and its evaluation as cathode material for lithium batteries. The P1 ‐based batteries demonstrated long‐term operational stability for over 1800 cycles at a high current density of 1 A g −1 and delivered remarkable specific discharge capacity of ca. 160 mAh g −1 . Ex situ Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy study unraveled the electrode degradation pathways realized upon the battery cycling.
