ITL-1 — Infrastructure Tagging Law Ambient OS · Canonical Specification
Abstract The Infrastructure Tagging Law (ITL-1) defines how definition precedes navigation in Ambient OS. It establishes a strict and non-negotiable separation between definition (Purple) and motion (Yellow), preventing cognitive overload, semantic drift, goal fixation, and extractive navigation patterns. ITL-1 specifies the canonical mechanism by which navigation becomes possible without language, maps, inference, optimization, or symbolic instruction, while preserving reversibility, voluntariness, and human agency across all forms of movement.
