BIOCHEMICAL ASSOCIATION BETWEEN CALCIUM HOMEOSTASIS AND SERUM URIC ACID LEVELS IN PATIENTS WITH HYPOTHYROIDISM: A COMPARATIVE EVALUATION WITH 25-HYDROXYVITAMIN D.
This study showed significant associations between calcium, 25-hydroxyvitamin D and serum uric acid levels in individuals with hypothyroidism. The negative correlations between uric acid and both calcium and 25-hydroxyvitamin D underscore the complex metabolic interactions characteristic of hypothyroidism.
