Retrieval of a Circumferentially Ruptured Balloon Using Single Access: A Case Report
We present a case in which a balloon ruptured circumferentially during an iliac stenting procedure, preventing withdrawal through the vascular sheath. Various retrieval attempts were made through the same access site, ultimately resulting in successful removal using a Fogarty balloon to compress the ruptured fragment, followed by snare capture.
