Linking Organizational Culture and Health Outcomes: A Bibliometric Assessment of Global Research Trends
This study explores the relationship between organizational culture and health outcomes, a complex and interdisciplinary field that is under rapid expansion. Using a bibliometric analysis applied to 426 articles indexed in SCOPUS and processed by VOSviewer, the research maps 2,725 keywords to identify global trends, thematic structures, and conceptual developments. The results highlight three major clusters: healthcare provider processes, psycho-social dimensions of work, and managerial structures of healthcare organizations. The interconnection of these areas confirms the central role of organizational culture in influencing healthcare performance, employee wellbeing, and patient safety. The study provides an integrated and up-to-date perspective on the knowledge architecture in the field, highlighting the need for interdisciplinary approaches and the expansion of research in diverse cultural contexts. The novelty lies in the comprehensive overviews of the literature and the identification of emerging directions for future research.
