Abnormal origin of the left coronary trunk and sudden death in a young athlete: a clinical case
We present the case of a 27-year-old woman, with no known personal pathological history, who for the past 2 years had been working as a high-performance athlete in high-impact disciplines, with training supervised by professionals. She had no history of smoking, alcoholism, or use of anabolic or pharmacological substances for training. When questioning the family history, it was identified that a maternal uncle died at age 42 from sudden death of unspecified cause; no family
