Classical and Bayesian inference for the truncated Ailamujia distribution: Its applications in environmental Art and radiation fields
To achieve distributions defined by flexibility, this research proposes a novel distribution termed the truncated Ailamujia distribution. It examines its essential properties, encompassing moments, moment-generating function, order statistics, Rényi entropy, and quantile function. It demonstrates the attributes of an increasing hazard failure rate function. The parameter of the suggested model is estimated using maximum likelihood, maximum product of spacings, and Bayesian estimation methods. Monte Carlo simulation experiment is performed utilizing an efficient approach to evaluate the behavior of various estimations. The truncated Ailamujia model's potential utility is demonstrated through three real datasets, related to radiation and environment sectors. The applications demonstrate that the proposed distribution provides superior fits compared to several other comparable distributions.
