The ticking clock of relapse in T-cell lymphomas

In this issue of Blood, Sorial et al 1 from the Peripheral T-Cell Lymphoma (PETAL) consortium evaluate the prognostic significance of early relapse in patients with nodal mature T-cell lymphomas (nMTCL).They establish time to relapse within 12 months (TTR12) as a powerful and independent prognostic marker and by that introduce a simple yet robust metric to identify patients at high risk of poor outcomes.
